Pollard Library's New Location

We are thrilled to announce that the Pollard Library has been relocated to Classroom 8, situated upstairs. To find it, pass the student lounge, turn right, and go to the first classroom on the left.

The newly arranged library space offers enhanced convenience, ample natural light and an open, airy environment, making it an ideal spot for studying and meetings. Students can now enjoy additional study and meeting areas, providing more opportunities for collaboration.

eCampus Online Bookstore

Bon Secours Southside College of Health Sciences has partnered with eCampus to provide our students an online bookstore. Students who utilize the eCampus online bookstore will have access to a variety of textbook formats (i.e., new, used, rental, digital eBooks, etc.) and receive free shipping on orders over $59 directly to their residence. Participating students will also have the benefit of returning books up to 30 days after the start of class and receiving cash back for textbooks at the end of each semester.

Center for Student Success Launches The Little Hope Pantry

Our Center for Student Success has started the Little Hope Pantry (LHP) initiative on the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, Southside College of Health Sciences, and School of Medical Imaging campuses. The Little Hope Pantry is a non-threatening accessible resource for our students experiencing food insecurity. The model for this food pantry is to bring what you can, and take what you need. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the donation boxes located at all three locations. 

Pollard Library Open House 9/13

Check it out! Pollard Library is hosting an open house, with fun treats to celebrate the occasion, on September 13^th, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Located on the ground floor across from Ions Hall, Pollard Library provides support and service to the students and staff of Southside College of Health Sciences. The library offers a collection of textbooks, study guides, and databases that are accessible to students and staff.
