The cost of attendance budget, as required by the Department of Education, includes: tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, applicable transportation costs, and any additional costs (miscellaneous items) of the program in which the student is enrolled. Each student's cost of attendance budget is disclosed on their individual electronic financial aid award letter. Please contact the financial aid office with any questions or budget concerns.
The COA is not the same as a bill. The COA is the College's estimate of what your total costs will be for the academic year. It (COA) is established solely for use in calculating federal financial aid eligibility and awarding financial aid, for a specific period of enrollment. Typically, you will be billed for “direct institutional/college charges,” such as tuition and fees, and books and supplies.
The College uses the cost of tuition/fees, course materials and books, estimated monthly living expenses, estimated transportation cost, and miscellaneous expenses.
